Overview
The Maasai Mara is Kenya’s crown jewel of safari destinations, where golden savannahs stretch endlessly and wildlife roams free. It is most famous for the Great Migration, where over a million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles thunder across the plains in search of greener pastures. Visitors can witness dramatic river crossings, where survival hangs in the balance as crocodiles wait in ambush. Beyond the migration, the reserve is home to the legendary Big Five, cheetahs sprinting across the plains, and hyenas under the African sky. Cultural encounters with the proud Maasai people add authenticity to the experience.
