Overview

Samburu is a rugged wilderness in northern Kenya, celebrated for its striking landscapes and unique wildlife. Unlike southern parks, Samburu is home to the ‘Special Five’—Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx—found only here. The Ewaso Nyiro River attracts elephants, lions, and leopards. Samburu also offers rich cultural experiences with the semi-nomadic Samburu people, known for their colorful attire and traditions. It’s a remote, raw safari for travelers seeking authenticity.
