Overview

Lake Naivasha, nestled in the Rift Valley, is a peaceful freshwater lake surrounded by acacia forests and wildlife. Hippos bask in its waters while giraffes and zebras graze along the shores. Bird enthusiasts are spoiled with over 400 species recorded. Boat rides allow close encounters with hippos and stunning photography. The area also serves as a gateway to Hell’s Gate National Park, where visitors can hike, cycle, and explore geothermal landscapes. It’s an ideal weekend escape from Nairobi.
