Overview
Lake Manyara is a gem of northern Tanzania, known for its tree-climbing lions and pink flamingos covering the lake’s surface. The park, though smaller compared to Serengeti or Tarangire, boasts a remarkable variety of habitats—lush forests, open savannahs, and hot springs. It’s an excellent destination for bird enthusiasts, with over 400 recorded species. Elephants, giraffes, and hippos also thrive here, making it a rewarding stop on the northern safari circuit.
